The Center includes the Gettysburg Museum of the American Civil War, the film A New Birth of Freedom, narrated by award winning actor Morgan Freeman, and the Cyclorama painting depicting Pickett’s Charge. The Museum and Visitor Center is owned and operated by the Gettysburg Foundation, a non-profit philanthropic, educational organization operating in partnership with the National Park Service to preserve Gettysburg National Military Park and Eisenhower National Historic Site.
